Reverse engineering is the process of redesigning a given physical model by digitizing the surface of the model using coordinate measuring equipment and constructing a design model from the digitized data.
StarGlobal 3D offers a range of reverse engineering services using measurement equipment from the precision measurement company FARO (USA) to collect data on structures and components with an accuracy of ±1mm.
From that dataset, the engineering team will re-model from the digitized data, while also being able to experimentally assemble components and structures when discrepancies are detected in the project or calculate the volume needed for leveling, as well as the area/volume of the project.
